About Ed Reuben

Ed Reuben

I want to make sure that all newbie’s didn’t have to figure out how to get a domain name, how to register a domain name, get hosting and much, much, more, the hard way like I did.

I spent months looking for the right answers to hoe to pick a domain name, how to register a domain name, where to get the best hosting account, how to build a web page, etc., only to get more confused. It seems that everybody has a on how to start out in the internet business.

Ed Reuben from his daughters view point:

Ed is a 62 year old (bald & ugly) man, he is disabled due to loosing his left leg to diabetes He is a widower and was married for over 36 years. He has 4 children (all girls), 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He lives in New Port Richey, Florida (USA) and has for over 40 years. That’s what you call soaking up the sun.

He was born in  Belmar, New Jersey and lived and grew up in New Jersey until he got married. In 1967 his new wife and ready made family of three girls moved to Florida.

His first job in Florida was in Tarpon Springs helping to build a county park. His starting pay was $1.25 per hour (he left a job in New Jersey that paid $11.00 per our). He then went on to make septic tanks and concrete columns for new homes.

He worked for an Air Conditioning Contactor as an installer to learn a trade. He then went to work for the local county government in maintenance where he repaired air conditioners.

He then opened his own Air Conditioning Business called Con-Ed Cooling Inc. The company was doing over 2.5 million in sales, when a large recession hit. He decided to sell the business while it was still profitable.

He then went to work for a local retirement community as maintenance director of the complex. In 3 years he was promoted to regional maintenance director and worked for the corporation out of Louisville, Kentucky (Atria Communities Inc). He oversaw the maintenance and new construction of all properties from Maine to Florida.

In 1998 he sold all his property in Florida and him and his wife (kids all grown and gone) moved to North Carolina so he would be able to cut his travel time down.

In 2003 (after having his leg amputated) at the request of his kids and grandchildren he moved back to Florida.

All this just so he can tell you the following

P.S. I think my daddy is the best! (Carmen (aka Konnie) Nazario)

I lived by myself and was getting more bored everyday. So I decided to do something (besides playing games) on my computer.

I joined a couple MLM’s and quickly found out that very few people make real money with MLM’s.

So I decided to try and build a web site and promote it on the web. The only problem with this is I didn’t know where to begin! Yes, I was just like most people I didn’t know how to build a web site or put it on the web.

For months I searched the web for answers and couldn’t figure out which guru was telling the truth.

I finally decided that the thing I needed to do was dive in and get wet.

Well I had Microsoft Office and it had FrontPage with it. I had read that FrontPage was an excellent program to build a web page. It may have been an excellent program to build a web page but to me it had an extra large learning curve.

After over a month of working with FrontPage (and many hours of frustration) I came up with a web page that I thought was OK. I thought well that’s it I got it!

Wrong! Now I had to get it on the web. I got a domain name, a web host and typed my URL in my browser, amazing my web page was on-line. I thought well I finally am finished.

Wrong! I had really just started, then came, search engines, SEO, cPanel, scripts and on and on and on.

Well here it is three years later and I have 4 domain names, a blog, a forum, over 200 web pages, a JV giveaway, a membership site and everything is working smoothly.

All this to say if I can do it so can you. It only takes a will to succeed and perseverance.

To Your Success
